Winter Orkney Standing Stones

Time is ticking away and soon I will be one of the international artists working at the  http://www.nessofbrodgar.com/ starting 4th of July.  That is a wonderful coincidence of dates with me being an American! You probably know how much the archaeology of Orkney inspires me, and this summer I will be bringing that excitement on site at the open excavation. 

This winter I began working some new ideas into my painting as preparation for the summer.  Bernie Bell came to the short exhibition I had and wrote it up like this:
