Collaborative Projects

  • 2019- 2020 collaborated and organized tour from Woodstock School of Art, New York led by artist Kate McGloughlin for 14 artists for 10 days
  • 2019 organized 2 renga events with Yvonne Gray on site at the Ness of Brodgar
  • 2018-2019 collaborated with Jim Bright to prepare multi-media and YouTube videos for solo exhibition, Vanishing Points” The Orkney Museum
  • 2018 “Pinholes Through Time” a renga mastered by poet, Yvonne Gray on site at the Ness of Brodgar, organized by J. Rose, illustrated by J.Rose
  • 2018 invited other staff and volunteers to add to the 15 ft residency painting and later developed their additions into a glossary to coordinate with the words they wrote onto the work “Hommage to the Sondage”, featured work at the Vanishing Point solo exhibition December 2018 – January 2019

Residencies

July – August 2018 and 2019 Artist -in-Residence at the Ness of Brodgar excavation with exhibition  December/January 218/2019 at the Kirkwall Museum.  Residency working alongside international artists. Painted a 15 ft x 6 ft piece and engaged the volunteer archaeology staff to add input.

November 2010 – April 2011 resident in late Sylvia Wishart’s home and studio Heather Braes where ‘Moonrise, Sunset, and Hoy in the Middle’ a 45 x 5 ft painting was created

Summers 2005 – 2009 Woodwick House self-arranged art workshops and cultural immersion travel experience for visitors from North America, mainly fellow working artists ORKNEY ART ADVENTURES
